designed for home buyers. The of this site is to display ACTIVE listings
of homes for sale in Calvert, Charles and St. Mary's County. From this
unique search service, you, the Southern Maryland home buyers can select
homes to visit, develop an understanding of what your money will buy
in Southern Maryland and show you the different value from county to
county. Homefinders.com agents can show and sell any and all homes listed
in this database. Our agents have membership, lock box access and are
fully familiar with the showing procedures for Southern Maryland homes
for sale.
The homes listed in this database are all ACTIVE listings of home for
sale TODAY. Once the home goes under contract and the listing agent
changes the status to a SOLD or Under Contract status, it will no longer
be viewed in this database. Members of the Multiple List Service will
still be able to view the listing, but the public will not.
On most days, there will be over 300 homes for sale listed in Calvert
County, over 320 homes for sale listed in Charles County and over 260
homes for sale listed in St. Mary's County. These listings will include
single family detached homes, town homes and condominium homes in Southern
Maryland. Few condominium homes are in the database because most homes
in Calvert, Charles and St. Mary's Counties are single family detached
homes. 95% of the listings in the database of homes for sale in Charles,
Calvert and St. Mary's Counties are detached homes.
Most agents and brokers are members of MRIS, the Multiple List Service
for Southern Maryland and, unless a seller specifically instructs their
agent not to enter the information for their home for sale in Calvert,
Charles or St. Mary's County, it will be available to visit, view and
buy. It is rare that an active listing will not be entered in this database.
Sellers want to sell their homes and their agents want to sell the home.
Our Multiple List Service, MRIS, require that newly listed homes be
entered in this database within hours of taking the listing. Penalties
can be levied by the MLS if the listing broker/agent breaks the rules.
